We have a tool installed on the computers that should allow for installation of TMA printers without having to use an administrator login.

Click Start, type in:

PolicyPak Printer Tool (or enough to see it and hit enter)

Click:

Add a printer

Look for your printer.  There will be a list and most of them will start by the floor that they are on.

When you find the one you want, click on it, then hit next.

(The green bar might go across probably for a while)

If this is a workroom printer that you need to use a cost code for, there is one more step:

In the PolicyPak Printers box, find your printer, right click on it and choose Printing Preferences.

Under the "Others" tab, find "Hide Department Code(Z)" and uncheck it.  If you always use just one department code you can put it in the line above.  It requires 5 numbers minimum so if your cost code is 123, go ahead and put in leading zeros:

00123

If you need any assistance with any step, just reply back to this email and let us know where things didn't work.

Thank you.
